Eagle Con 2016: Vegeta

I feel like that Dragonball Z is one of those shows that I have not watched enough as a kid. But it is totally a seminal anime show for my generation. It goes right up there with Pokemon, everybody that is my age has seen at least one episode of.

In any case, this is another commission from Eagle Con 2016 and one thing that I really tried to convey is the dynamism and energy that Vegeta gives off. It helps to have a lot of speed lines-something that is used all of the time in the show-to make the image more exciting. For this picture to work, I needed to make the shadowing on Vegeta's body and face look consistent. It really makes the energy ball look more legit.
