Eagle Con 2016: Los Angeles Cityscape

A couple of weeks ago, I was present at a small comic convention called Eagle Con held in California State University of Los Angeles. It was a small event, but surprisingly busy as I have another round of commissions to show off on the blog.

Remember when I said that I am practicing drawing background and cityscapes? Well this commission, I drew nothing but buildings! I will give you this, it is getting easier to draw buildings. It has everything to do with having steady hands to draw straight perspective lines. Another tip to drawing a building scape is having a consistent lighting. For example, having shadows fall consistently on all of the buildings the same way. With that being said, I did not follow my own advice. If you see the third building on the left, I forgot to shadow the building's front face. Oops.
