Long Beach Comic Con Commissions: The Red Hood and Johnny Cage

Hey all.  It has been a while since I posted. That is my mistake.  I have been preoccupied with life lately.  However, I just recently did a convention at the Long Beach Comic Con.  All in all, I had a great experience. I met a lot of people and made a lot of great art.

Here is a commission from one customer who requested the always bad-ass Red Hood (a.k.a. the bad Robin).  I was really happy with this card because I wasn't sure if the of him pointing his gun at the camera would look good. But it turned out fantastic! It really helped that I drew a thin white line around the barrel of the gun to help distinguish it from his black pants.

The other commission I drew was Johnny Cage from Mortal Kombat doing his infamous split leg, groin punch. I was just meh with the way Johnny Cage turned out.  He just looks too generic for me.  But, to be fair, he is a very generic-looking character to begin with.  I also made it a point to really emphasize somebody getting punched in the nuts.  That part of the picture makes me happy.
