Elsa Bloodstone

Elsa Bloodstone (not related at all to Elsa from Frozen) is a super obscure Marvel character who hunts monsters.  Here is a rare case of me using all pencils to draw a picture.  I you cannot tell from my other pictures, I love crosshatching! Actually I tried to do something a little bit different and crosshatch just the monsters in the background and keep Elsa relatively crosshatch free in order to make her stand out more.

One problem I ran into while drawing the monsters in the background was that they all had to be crosshatched on a crazy level. This was a challenge, especially for the monsters with scales on them.  That means that I would individually crosshatch each scale and then do an overall crosshatch of their entire face to match the lighting.
