MCU Cards: Guardians of the Galaxy

In case you have been living under a rock for the past summer, "Guardians of the Galaxy" is kind  of a big deal.  For my latest installment of the Marvel Cinematic Univerese card set, I present the latest Marvel blockbuster.

From the top to the bottom: Groot, Rocket Raccoon, Star Lord, Gamora, and Drax the Destroyer.

Groot and Rocket have pretty typical action poses where they look like they are walking down some hallway.  For Star Lord, I tried to do something different where I used my sketchy style.  I also actually drew his mask off model, but it is not noticeable unless you are comparing it with a picture.

Gamora has a blooper on her arm where I erased the inks on her face too quickly before the ink dried up, so it smeared.  I tried to cover it up by inking some more lines on her arm. Of all things to nitpick the picture, I also did not draw her sword correctly either.

Finally, Drax came out great.  I enjoy drawing him because he is a stereotypical muscle-bound dude, however, I hate drawing his tattoos.  However, I found a visually shortcut for drawing the tattoos by just lightly drawing a design and then filling it in with extraneous lines to make it look busy.
