I love drawing women, but I don't actually post enough pictures of them. Poison Ivy has been a mainstay in Batman's villains' roster for a long while and she is a lot of fun to draw. I was more inspired by the way she is drawn by artist Tim Sale, who draws her hair as a pile of leaves and branches.

The majority of the picture is done with thin black Crayola marker. the backdrop, Ivy's face, and the shadow feathering is done with a Papermate Flair Medium tipped pen. Finally, the big areas of black is done with a Sharpie Fat tipped marker.
